19/04/2017 The Canadian Circumstances of Death Register records that Private Thomas Harris was killed in action on 4th September 1916. His unit was in trenches near Courcelette at the time.

30/12/2015 The CWGC record Private Harris as the son of George Harris, and Agnes Harris (nee Allen) of Northern Ireland.

30/12/2015 Thomas Harris was the son of George and Nancy Harris (nee Allen). Thomas was born in Moneymore on 29th October 1889.
30/12/2015 The 1901 census lists Tommy Harris as age 11 living with the family at house 4 in Carrydarragh, Moneymore. George Harris was a farm labourer.

30/12/2015 Private Thomas Harris was serving with A Company, in the 13th Battalion of the Canadian Infantry when he was killed in action in France and Flanders on 4th September 1916. He was 26 years old.
30/12/2015 Thomas enlisted in Montreal on 10th August 1915. He gave his next of kin as his younger brother, Allen Harris, who was also living in Montreal. Thomas gave his occupation as ‘driver’. He was 25 years old.
